NHS Property Services (NHSPS) delivers property and facilities management expertise to the directly managed portion of the NHS real estate portfolio. At a time of major change and increasing demand there is a focus on the need for cost reduction while at the same time improving how the portfolio is managed. The overall objective being to deliver on the need to generate vital funds for reinvestment to support improvements in frontline patient care. The NHSPS portfolio contains 3,500 buildings, with a value of over £3 billion, and represents approximately 10 percent of the entire NHS real estate holding.
